Biluochun is produced in the Dongting Mountains by Taihu Lake in Suzhou, Jiangsu. The tea gardens are at an altitude of about 200 – 300 meters. The mountain mists nourish a unique flavor. There are different grades, with the top grade being the most precious. It is picked from the Spring Equinox to the Grain Rain. The fresh leaves are of the local population small-leaf variety. Its shape is curled like a spiral, with white hairs clearly visible, and the color is silver-green and faintly emerald. The aroma is rich, with floral and fruity scents. The taste is fresh, mellow, and has a sweet aftertaste that lingers on the lips and teeth. The water content is controlled at around 7% to ensure quality. In a sealed, dry, and low-temperature environment, the shelf life is about 1 year. A cup of Biluochun allows you to fully experience the charm of spring in the south of the Yangtze River.
